Antonio Conte has hit back at reports suggesting that Chelsea’s players have complained about the intensity of their training sessions. The Times reported that members of Chelsea’s squad are unhappy with their current schedule and believe the Italian is at fault for the club’s mixed start to the campaign, as well as the team’s growing injury list. But Conte is adamant that his players are not working as hard as they did last season and believes it’s ‘impossible’ for his players to be fully prepared for each game due to their congested fixture schedule. ‘I have my methods, its the same as last season when we won the league,’ said the Chelsea manager. ‘Honestly, I think we are working 70 per cent less than last season, maybe [it’s] for this reason we are having trouble. The tactical and physical aspect… we are playing every three days, when you play every three days it’s impossible to work on tactical and physical aspect. On the tactical aspect you have to work less and pay less attention to detail. I think when you have to play four competitions this is the path you must follow, but it’s normal, when you play every game with the same players this is a big problem, in this way it’s impossible for these players. The game is not training, its different, you can train only a part of the fitness, you can train only the metabolic part but you lose your strength for the game.’ #BlueIsTheColour #CFC #CFCFans #CFCFamily #CFCTillIDie #BPL #EPL #PremierLeague #PreSeason #CFCTour #Champions #ComeOnYouBlues #WearChelsea #PremierLeagueChampions #ChelseaFC #COYB #KTBFFH #IfItsNotBlueItWillBe #CFCArmy #TheBlues #Chelsea_KTBFFH #ChelseaFans #ChelseaKWT #CFCNews #CFCTransfers #CFCTour #AntonioConte #Conte

Antonio Conte retains his confidence in his abilities — even if his Chelsea bosses are losing theirs. Manager Conte is adamant the title race is not over, despite City’s impressive winning streak. But he refused to confirm, on a number of occasions, that he retains the faith of the Chelsea hierarchy. He said: “The support is my job, my work. This is only my support. I know only this support, in my experience. I don’t know other support. To put all myself into the job — if this is enough, it’s OK. If it’s not enough...” Asked whether he had been backed by owner Roman Abramovich, Conte was again non-committal. He added: “I think that, about my talks with the club, it’s right to keep them secret. It’s not important to tell the press. I think, honestly, it must be in this way. This is the right way.” “But, I repeat, I stay here to work. I stay here to put all myself into this club, for the fans and the players. Me and my staff. I’m a person who is not afraid to face the difficulties. My history speaks very clearly on that. I fought in the relegation zone. I started my career very badly, my first experience, but I understood and learned a lot about this. I repeat. I have experience, a lot of experience, as a player and as a coach of facing this type of situation.” #BlueIsTheColour #CFC #CFCFans #CFCFamily #CFCTillIDie #BPL #EPL #PremierLeague #PreSeason #CFCTour #Champions #ComeOnYouBlues #WearChelsea #PremierLeagueChampions #ChelseaFC #COYB #KTBFFH #IfItsNotBlueItWillBe #CFCArmy #TheBlues #Chelsea_KTBFFH #ChelseaFans #ChelseaKWT #CFCNews #CFCTransfers #CFCTour #AntonioConte #Conte

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has claimed he is a “magician” for predicting they would struggle to match the feats of last season during the current campaign. "I was a magician to anticipate it," said Conte, who was forced to dismiss rumoured unhappiness at his training methods. "But, for sure, I'm a person who is not afraid to face the difficulties. "Now we are in October and we have to think about improving the present. Don't find excuses. Tell always the truth. If you always tell the truth, you can't be afraid of anything." Conte appreciates the precarious nature of management, not least at Chelsea, but insisted he is giving his all to ensure success for Chelsea and their supporters. "If I feel the pressure? I think every coach, every manager has to feel the pressure," he added. "When I go to my house I'm happy because I know in every moment I put all myself in my job for this club, for the fans, for my players." #BlueIsTheColour #CFC #CFCFans #CFCFamily #CFCTillIDie #BPL #EPL #PremierLeague #PreSeason #CFCTour #Champions #ComeOnYouBlues #WearChelsea #PremierLeagueChampions #ChelseaFC #COYB #KTBFFH #IfItsNotBlueItWillBe #CFCArmy #TheBlues #Chelsea_KTBFFH #ChelseaFans #ChelseaKWT #CFCNews #CFCTransfers #CFCTour #AntonioConte #Conte

AAntonio Conte has warned his Chelsea squad they must stick together as they attempt to avoid a third successive Premier League defeat and a repeat of the dressing room problems that ended Jose Mourinho’s reign. Conte refused to disclose whether he has been in communication with Abramovich since the Atletico victory, but insisted he did not need any public backing from Chelsea. “I think that, about my talks with the club, it's right to keep them secret,” said Conte. “It's not important to tell the press. I think, honestly, it must be in this way. This is the right way. The support is my job. The support is my job, my work. This is only my support. I know only this support in my experience. I don't know other support. I have to put all myself into the job. If this is enough, it's okay. If it's not enough, (shrugs). But the only support I know is my job.” “But, for sure, you hope. You hope you won't have problems in your season. But, I repeat, I stay here to work. I stay here to put all myself into this club, for the fans and the players. Me and my staff. I'm a person who is not afraid to face the difficulties. My history speaks very clearly on that. I fought in the relegation zone. Antonio Conte is optimistic that injured Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante will return to fitness in time to take on Manchester United at the start of November. "I hope to have him back very soon, before the international break,’ Conte explained at his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday’s visit of Watford. ‘He’s progressing well. The scan was better than before. N’Golo has started to work, not with the group, but towards good fitness.’ Asked if he will be back in time to face United, he added: ‘He could be an option. But honestly if Kante is available before Manchester United and the game against Roma, then I would be very happy.’ #BlueIsTheColour #CFC #CFCFans #CFCFamily #CFCTillIDie #BPL #EPL #PremierLeague #PreSeason #CFCTour #Champions #ComeOnYouBlues #WearChelsea #PremierLeagueChampions #ChelseaFC #COYB #KTBFFH #IfItsNotBlueItWillBe #CFCArmy #TheBlues #Chelsea_KTBFFH #ChelseaFans #ChelseaKWT #CFCNews #CFCTransfers #CFCTour #AntonioConte #Conte #ngolokante

CHELSEA boss Antonio Conte is convinced he is doing all he can to get the Blues’ season back on track but cannot guarantee he will avoid the sack. “At the moment after two defeats and a draw I am happy for the commitment of my players, but after the three results I am not happy,” he said. “Every coach and manager has to feel the pressure. I try to give all myself and put everything into the job. When I go to my house I am happy because I put all myself in the job for the fans, club and players. But anything can happen in football.” When asked if the board had given him their backing, Conte was illusive and claimed his focus was solely on the players and taking things game by game. “The most important thing to do is to work, always to have this enthusiasm,” Conte added. “I don’t care what happens around. I think we are doing everything to try to win games. The players’ commitment was very good against City and Roma. Our focus is to go game by game. Every opponent can be dangerous for different reasons. For us it is important to be focused to go game by game and put ourselves in our game.” #BlueIsTheColour #CFC #CFCFans #CFCFamily #CFCTillIDie #BPL #EPL #PremierLeague #PreSeason #CFCTour #Champions #ComeOnYouBlues #WearChelsea #PremierLeagueChampions #ChelseaFC #COYB #KTBFFH #IfItsNotBlueItWillBe #CFCArmy #TheBlues #Chelsea_KTBFFH #ChelseaFans #ChelseaKWT #CFCNews #CFCTransfers #CFCTour #AntonioConte #Conte

Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte says his players are operating at "70% less this season" because of their heavy playing schedule. Conte claims his side have underperformed and struggled to cope with the loss of big players like Diego Costa, Nemanja Matic and John Terry. Ahead of Saturday lunchtime's Sky Live clash at home to Watford, the Italian said: "We lost a lot of big players who had a great history with the club. We changed five players and are trying to repeat something important. We are working 70% less this season. We are playing every two days, it's impossible and we are paying for this. When you play every three days it's impossible to work on the tactical aspect and physical aspect. I think we are paying less attention in every detail. After two defeats and a draw, I'm happy for the commitment of my players but about the last result (against Roma) no coach can be happy. After two defeats in the league, we want to come back and win. It can happen, we play a tough game after only two days and we played (Crystal) Palace after the international break Our priority is to be focused and go game by game. Every opponent can be dangerous. It is a problem to play every game with the same players so it is impossible for these players to work - the game is not training." #BlueIsTheColour #CFC #CFCFans #CFCFamily #CFCTillIDie #BPL #EPL #PremierLeague #PreSeason #CFCTour #Champions #ComeOnYouBlues #WearChelsea #PremierLeagueChampions #ChelseaFC #COYB #KTBFFH #IfItsNotBlueItWillBe #CFCArmy #TheBlues #Chelsea_KTBFFH #ChelseaFans #ChelseaKWT #CFCNews #CFCTransfers #CFCTour #AntonioConte #Conte
