Warrior postures are an interesting beast. I don't especially love how they feel physically (get anyone who tells you yoga asana is easy to hold a warrior for 2 minutes and then we'll talk!), but I really love what they do to me mentally and energetically, and I enjoy how much symbolism you can pour into them and how many really subtle adjustments you can make. Maybe I just like that because it takes my mind off how much my front leg and my arms are aching!! But one thing is for sure in all of the warrior postures - your mind will give out on you way before your body does. So the real challenge is to stay in the fire, breathe through the discomfort and aching limbs knowing that it's just your strength growing, and take the alchemy that occurs in that heat off the mat and into your life.
